Already have an infected system? Here are steps to clean up an infected system 1) Restart computer in safe mode 2) Restart computer 3) Tap F8 key repeatedly when screen is black during system restart 4) Use arrow keys to select safemode with networking, hit enter 5) Hit enter again on next screen 6) Click OK to accept safe mode 7) Open Internet Explorer 8) Go to Trend Micro web site for free spyware and virus scan http://housecall.trendmicro.com and select free scan option 9) Select complete scan 10) Check off box My computer or C drive for what to scan 11) Follow prompts through next series of screens 12) Summary is provided with results of scan, follow recommended actions
